AFC Wimbledon
A new build project costing of three stands, allowing for circa 5,000 football fans at Plough Lane. The stands consisted of a steel frame structure, complete with metal cladding to roof and stand walls. In conjunction with metal-deck terracing and hand-railing, this provided semi-seating and safe-standing areas. This element of work formed part of the overall development of the Plough Lane stadium (circa £30.0m GDV).
This work was carried out during the COVID-19 period of 2020.
Special Considerations include:
- Site was extremely restricted for access.
- Tight programme period.
