Who we are

Building Options Limited is a Chartered Building Consultancy (CIOB CBC) based in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Dario Di-Felice MCIOB, Managing Director and founder has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, spanning a wide variety of projects. Building Options Limited delivers a very professional construction consultancy service to its clients (private & corporate), investors, developers, contractors, landlords, managing agents, and various other professionals.

We have many connections within the construction industry itself, supporting sectors and associations. Dario is the 2025 Chair of the Bournemouth Property Association (BPA), a founder member of the Bournemouth Division of the Progressive Property Network (PPN), and a regular attendee at various other business and networking events.

Building Options Limited often gets engaged at concept and pre-construction stage, though this can be part-way through a project. We sometimes get brought in to provide temporary solutions where existing team members are absent or there is a high workload demand. Regardless of which point we are introduced, we provide high levels of expertise right through to project completion, and beyond.

We have a fantastic team, and work to ensure that our Clients are delighted with the end result. We pride ourselves in being open, honest and transparent in our communications, and work collaboratively with our clients and supply chain to deliver total satisfaction.

Where we work

Our core working area is Southern England (i.e. most areas within the Exeter, Bristol, Oxford, Watford, Dartford, and Hastings boundaries (including within the M25). The is not an exclusive boundary line, and we have carried out several projects outside of these areas. We have also been fortunate enough to work on overseas projects, albeit we have been based in the UK and not had to visit those areas.

We work remotely, or from Clients offices/sites, and easily integrate with existing team structures.
